My name is Shawn Vermillion, I've been into railroad photography since 2002. I started out shooting film with an Olympus IS50QD with a 28-150 Olympus lens. In 2004 I purchased a Kodak DX6490, it was my first decent digital camera and the reason I got seriously involved with railroad photography. In the years since 2004 I had digital SLR's from Minolta and Sony. I now shoot 100% of all my photographs with a Nikon D90 with vertical grip and a Nikkor 18-105 ED VR lens.
